Liven up your next video call by inviting an actual goat for less than $100

Inspired by the massive work-from-home pivot we’ve all made in the last couple of months, an animal sanctuary in Silicon Valley has made a big pivot of its own by letting people pay to get llamas, goats, and other farm animals to make a cameo appearance in video calls.

People can pay anywhere from $65 to $250 for various video interactions with the animals, which include goats, sheep, pigs, cows, turkeys, and llamas — by far the most popular choice.

In it first couple of weeks Sweet Farm’s Goat 2 Meeting service has fielded more than 300 requests for animal cameos and virtual field trips in work happy hours and corporate meetings.

I think we’re all a little stressed with what’s going on — many of us have been sitting inside... we’re just hoping to bring some smiles to people’s faces while bringing them out to the farm at the same time.
